Who we are

North Bold Compagny is an online training business operated by Maxime Guichard in Quebec City (Canada). This policy covers the website www.northboldcompagny.com and the courses it offers.

Person in charge of the protection of personal information: Maxime Guichard, fondateur@northboldcompagny.com. Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), this is the person you can contact with any question or request.

The information we collect

• When you buy a course: your name, email address, country and the information needed for payment. Card data is processed directly by our payment provider Stripe; we never have access to it.
• When you take a course: your progress (lessons opened and completed) and, for each purchase, the date, the offer, the amount and the version of the terms accepted.
• When you write to us: your name, your email and the content of your message.
• When you browse the site: technical data (pages viewed, device type, visit source) through cookies, only with your consent for non-essential cookies.

Why we use it

• to send you emails related to your purchase and the ones you requested;
• to give you access to your course and manage your account;
• to process your payment, your invoices and, if applicable, your refund;
• to handle refund requests and payment disputes, and to prevent abusive use (account sharing, reselling);
• to answer your questions;
• to improve the site and our courses using visit statistics.

We never sell or rent your personal information.

Emails

You only receive our emails if you have consented to them, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We use service providers that process some data on our behalf, only for the purposes described here:

• Systeme.io: hosting of the site and the courses, and sending emails;
• Stripe: secure payment processing;
• IONOS: domain name and business email.

These providers may store data outside Quebec, notably in the European Union and the United States. Before entrusting them with your information, we make sure they offer adequate protection.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as necessary for the purposes above: as long as your course account is active, then for the time required by tax laws for billing data. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access your information, have it corrected, withdraw your consent or have it deleted. Write to fondateur@northboldcompagny.com: we reply within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. Depending on where you live (for example in some US states), you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.

Security

The site is protected by an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to our tools is limited and password-protected. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will inform you and the Commission d'accès à l'information.

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
